Dr James Stone is a Reader in Vison and Computational Neuroscience at the University of Sheffield, England.

Research Interests

  1.  Generic computational principles which underpin visual perception
    (e.g. spatiotemporal smoothness, statistical independence, information maximisation, Bayesian inference), 

  2. The relationship between learning and evolution.
